1st off....let me say if you are expecting a state-of-the-art drive in experience, this isn't for you.
But if you're looking for a old school enjoyable family experience, this is for you.
Our family went on Saturday night for "Shrek". 16 bucks for 2 adults and 2 kids. You can buy popcorn, cotton candy, candy bars and bottled drinks from an on-site concession stand. If you want a popcorn refill, you walk to the main building. Or you can save more money and bring your own snacks.
Families in lawn chairs and on blankets......the audio is available over your car radio, much like the festival of lights. I'm bringing a portable radio for our next visit, which is probably not even necessary because of everyone around us.
All in all.....a pretty cool night. Kids absolutely loved it. We will be supporting this and props to Landmark for attempting this.
Absolutely.
ReplyDeleteI took my grandson(20 months) to this (it was a date!) for his first drive-in movie. We had a great time and can't wait to go to the the next one. Unfortunately, I will be out of town for the long weekend this time.
